If
you're currently using the Microsoft Office suite of programs for your
day-to-day business computing needs, you may have experimented with the
various 'macro' and programming functions that are integrated into this
software. However, for most small enterprises, any attempt to link
data from a spreadsheet to a word-processor document, for example, can
be both time-consuming and frustrating, unless, of course, you are an
adept computer programmer.
This is another area
in which I can help you. For example, you may wish to do marketing
mail shots to your customers on a regular basis: you may have a
need to send standardized letters to your customers from time to
time: you may have a need to supply your customers with written
quotations about your specific products and services. All this
information you already have, but probably in different formats and,
quite possibly, residing on different computers.
In conjunction with a
company-wide central database, I can program your word-processor or
spreadsheet to extract the required data from the database, placing the
information in custom-designed forms, letters, reports and the like.
